I have attended the Association for the Study of Play (TASP) annual conference beginning in 2013. Last year, I presented a workshop with two undergraduate students on the use of Legos in educational play and lessons for children. These included activities that children and adults could use to learn and construct letters and numbers, developing mathematical concepts and reasoning and encouraging early physics and scientific inquiry by building a balloon car and sinking or floating constructions. Photos of TASP to come soon!
