I have five years of teaching at the college level. Here is a list of the courses I have taught:

  • PSYCH212: Introduction to Developmental Psychology

This course covered topics related to the development and social interactions of humans. Topics included the conception and development of the human fetus through childhood, adulthood and aging.

  • ECE 451: Introduction to Early Childhood Education

This course introduces topics of early childhood education. Topics include infant and child development, NAEYC's Developmentally Appropriate Practice, working with families, observations and assessments in early childhood, learning in developmental domains.

  • ECE 479: The Child's Play as Educative Process

This course covers play in relation to overall growth, development and education of the young child. Topics covered include educational play, theories of play, nature and outdoor play, play and child development, cultural play.

  • CI 295A: Early Field Experience for Education Majors

This course offers education majors the initial field experience in preschool and elementary school settings. Students are placed with mentor teachers and expected to complete sixty field experience hours.
